An atmosphere can be simply defined as a pervading tone, mood, climate of a place, situation.
You as an individual have a space, a portal that belongs to you. It is your thoughts, your attitude, it’s your emotions, it’s who you spend time with, what you watch, listen to, what you follow the most on Social media, it’s your Fellowship. That’s your Atmosphere, that’s what you have control over.

The reason why some people live worried, offended, negative, bitter is because they have let everything in. They listen to the news all day, follow negative trends on Social media, befriend people who are critical, and all this affects the individual's outlook of life. The problem is you are not ruling your atmosphere! You really have to be careful of what you let in. You cannot always stop things from coming, you cannot always control how people treat you, but you do have control of how you Respond. Guard yourself.

PROVERBS 25:28 MSG
Therefore, control what comes into your atmosphere. As Christians, our atmosphere may mean our most cherished encounters with God/ the Holy Spiritual. It can be practical habits that influence our closeness with God. As such, we have a personal responsibility to go all out in Cherishing, protecting these atmospheres. We need to take rulership of them, and not leave them to chance.
GENESIS 28:10-19
Jacob casually spends a night at a place called Luz because it was already dark. He sleeps there and during the night the portals of heaven were opened, he saw Angels descending and ascending on a staircase that reached unto heaven. When he woke up, he was shocked about such an encounter. He perceived the place where he slept is the doorway into heaven. First, he took the stone he had used for a pillow, erected an Altar, He renamed the place as Bethel (House of God), and he made a vow in that place. That is totally taking control of the place.
In the day of trouble (GENESIS 35:1) God points him back to Bethel, the place at which he encountered God, ordered him to stay there, at that atmosphere.
DAVID
1st SAMUEL 17:34-40
David, during his time as a shepherd boy at the backside of the desert, where nobody minded him, chose to pursue close fellowship with God, wrote Psalms, songs of worship. Such closeness with God gives him victory over the predators that tried to snatch his father's sheep under his care, gives him power to pounce and overcome them, the bear, the Lion. Such encounters birth a testimony, with which he walks confidently in, before King Saul, at a time they were facing Goliath. He is so confident that through God's help, whom he has seen save him from both the Lion and bear, he can fight and concur the most feared giant in the histories of the bible., so much that when Israel soldiers called Goliath a mighty warrior, David rather referred to him as an Uncircumcised Philistine. Therefore, it is important that we rule over our atmosphere, so that through intentional fellowship with our God, testimonies are birthed, which are key to helping us defeat the giants in the next level of our lives.
HEBREWS 11:5 AMP
